Farrar, O. C.

 

Mr. O. C. Farrar, one of the wealthiest, most active and progressive business men of Tarboro, died at his home Thursday morning, after several days’ illness.  He was formerly a tobacco manufacturer of New Berne.

Ford, W. H. P.

 

Mr. W. H. P. Ford, of Edgecombe county, died yesterday at 2:30 o’clock at the Soldiers’ Home.  He was 68 years years [sic] old and served in the Civil War as a member of Company B, Forty-fourth North Carolina troops.
