Cherry, Cader

 

DIED, in this county, on Sunday last, Mr. Cader Cherry, of this place.  On the previous Sunday, he was thrown from a buggy, in consequence of the horse running away, had his thigh broke, and was otherwise injured.  He has left a wife and six children to mourn their loss.

Coffield, Joseph B.

 

DIED, In this place, on Thursday, the 22nd inst., of lock-jaw, JOSEPH B., infant child of J. B. and Elizabeth P. Coffield, aged 9 days.

Cutchen, Jesse

 

Jesse Cutchen, of Edgecombe, died at his residence on the 8th inst., aged 71 years.  Few, very few men, have ever left the world with a fairer and brighter character than the subject of this notice.  He was in every sense of the word a good man: truthful, honest, industrious and prudent, with clear and sound judgement.
